Toyota Hybrid AR

The Toyota Centre Hybrid AR app uses the latest technology in order to enhance the customer in centre experience. Using Augmented Reality technology to overlay graphics of the Hybrid drivetrain onto production vehicles customers will be able to explore how the Hybrid system works in an innovative and engaging way.



Due to the use of new technology frameworks such as Augmented Reality and high resolution graphics, the application has been optimised for the following iPad and operating system versions:

—iPad 9.7” (2018)
—iPad Pro 11” (2018)
—iPad Pro 12.9” (2018)
—iOS 12 and above

The app may be installed and run on older iPad versions, however you may experience performance issues such as slow camera/model movement, or loss of tracking. If this is the case you will need to move around the vehicle slower and also minimise quick camera movements with the iPad.

Closing any other applications running in the background may help improve performance.

If your iPad is running software older than iOS 12, you will need to follow the iOS update process.
